ThoughtSpot and BITanium bring search-driven analytics to SA

BITanium, specialists in extracting actionable insights from data, has announced it is partnering with ThoughtSpot, the leader in search-driven analytics, to make data analyses easier and more accessible for every business person in South Africa.

Leading global 1,000 brands in top industries across retail, financial services, telecom and healthcare are turning to ThoughtSpot’s easy-to-use search interface to make it possible for every employee to quickly analyse their company data. Anyone can use ThoughtSpot with zero training to ask questions and build reports and dashboards – all in seconds.

“As we’ve engaged with ThoughtSpot, we have seen massive interest in their new breed of search-driven analytics”, says Chris O’Connell, Managing Director of BITanium. “There’s huge unmet demand for information from data-hungry business users, which is clearly not being satisfied by legacy BI solutions. We see a tremendous opportunity through our ThoughtSpot partnership to bring instant answers to business professionals at our customers in every role and department.”

ThoughtSpot also recently launched ThoughtSpot 3, the latest release of its award-winning product, and introduced 200+ new features across search, analytics and visualisation. Three of the top features to help non-technical business people get faster insights, include:

* DataRank: a ranking algorithm that sorts and presents data recommendations as-you-type, guiding users to the right data based on data properties and the collective intelligence in a company.
* AutoJoins: Automatically graphs data sources and joins tables in real-time to calculate answers across previously siloed databases.
* PopCharts: As-you-type in ThoughtSpot’s search box, answers are calculated on-the-fly and charts are presented instantly. PopCharts chooses from over a dozen new chart types and automatically presents the best one for the search.

“Demand for ThoughtSpot has been growing rapidly across the globe. We recently expanded into Europe, and with BITanium’s local knowledge and deep experience in the South African market, we couldn’t be more excited to bring search-driven analytics to South Africa”, said Ajeet Singh, CEO of ThoughtSpot.
