More than 100 specially invited partners from the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META region), gathered in Abu Dhabi, UAE, on May 10-13, for Kaspersky Lab’s Trusted Advisors Summit to align on the company’s ‘Go Big Plan’ in Enterprise and SMB. The company’s top managers and experts shared global and META strategy and 4 years development plan, as well as presenting and answering questions about industry trends. Partners had trainings on the cutting edge Kaspersky Lab’s solutions and business administration skills. The award ceremony praised a number of partners for their outstanding performance and commitment to Kaspersky Lab’s business development.

Eugene Kaspersky who participated in the event and focused his presentation on key cybersecurity issues relating to critical infrastructure, said: “Meeting our partners at such events is crucial for comparing notes and updating each other on the most important challenges of cybersecurity and industry perspectives. Cybersecurity is a growing global concern, and we see cyberthreats becoming increasingly – scandalously – dangerous, like the latest global outbreak of ransomware has demonstrated. We need to work closely together with our partners to ensure provision of cutting-edge protection for our customers in this crucial region. I’d like to thank all those participating in this conference for all their hard work. With the evolving threat landscape, we’re going to have even more work in the future.”

Maxim Frolov, Managing Director of the Middle East, Turkey and Africa, presented plans for business development in the META region. He said “We constantly invest in research and development through our experts around the world and our solutions and services – such as Kaspersky Security Intelligence Services, unique Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity and our secure operating system. We have also been strengthening our partner programme, built around profitability, ease of doing business and vendor support. With these combined elements, together with our partners we can be even more successful in META”.

It brings well-being to people and success to organisations. But new innovations, such as many of those used in smart cities, should be implemented responsibly – with security in mind. It’s great to see so many distinguished companies brought together by Kaspersky Lab at the conference, dedicated to both business and cybersecurity development in the Gulf region. The event was very informative and productive”.
