The African entrepreneurship ecosystem is to be showcased at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas next week.
At the crossroads of electronics, computers, mobile devices, home automation, Internet of Things, Robotics, E-health and connected cars, International CES is aimed at innovative companies around the world.
Called AfricaTech Now, the African event at CES will promote the continent as the next digital and innovation hub.
Government officials, heads of incubators and accelerators and African entrepreneurs will be able to join the first African delegation as visitors, while the AFRICA TECH NOW VILLAGE will offer promising African Startups the ability to demonstrate their innovations.
The event – held from January 8 to 11 – will look at the main Digital Transformation challenges facing Africa, with specific focus on mobile payment, agriculture, health, Smart Cities, education and energy.
