Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH) expects to have network integration with Multi Operator Core Network (MOCN) technology fully completed by the end of Q1 2023 throughout Indonesia – to maximize untapped potential in Indonesia’s growing digital economy.
President Director and CEO, IOH, Vikram Sinha, said: “In line with our vision to become the most preferred digital telco of Indonesia, we at IOH are committed to continue providing a reliable network to improve customers’ digital experience.”
Fully supported by Ericsson, IOH has completed the network integration process in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi (Jabodetabek) area.
Head of Ericsson Indonesia, Jerry Soper, said: “We believe this project can maximize the effectiveness of the existing network infrastructure and significantly improve customer experience throughout Jabodetabek.”
Ericsson’s newest radio equipment can support IOH with features that increase capacity while increasing site efficiency and accelerating time-to-market (TTM) of various 4G and 5G services.
Furthermore, the latest baseband equipment from Ericsson enables IOH to have multi-standard capabilities to run 2G, 4G and 5G at the same time using mixed mode configuration.
