Genetec announces Australian data centre for Security Center SaaS hosted by Microsoft Azure 

Genetec has confirmed Genetec Security Center SaaS will be hosted in Australia on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.  

Demand for sovereign data hosting capability, robust cybersecurity and flexible cloud options, affirmed the strategy of Genetec to offer its security solution hosted on an Australian data centre. 

By hosting Security Center SaaS on Azure – leveraging the latest in enterprise-ready Gen AI and cloud technology – public and private sector organisations throughout the Australia will be able to obtain flexible physical security cloud technology and fast, low-latency access to the solution while ensuring data sovereignty protocols are met.  

Australia joins the United States, Canada and the Netherlands as one of the four countries where Genetec has launched a data centre for Security Center SaaS.
