xAmplify wins Australian National Audit Office IT Managed Services contract

xAmplify has been appointed as the Australian National Audit Office (ANAO)’s primary IT Managed Services Provider.

The transition period is already underway and will conclude at the end of on October 2024 when the teams from xAmplify and A23 – the Canberra-based specialist for infrastructure and cloud services – will fully assume the role of ANAO’s IT Managed Services provider.

The initial three-year contract, awarded via a competitive tender, is valued at over $7 million.

 Tom Scicluna, Chief Operating Officer, xAmplify, said that this ‘landmark agreement’ represents a major step forward in xAmplify’s mission to modernise the public sector’s IT managed services landscape with a modern, agile and automation first approach.

 “This contract with the ANAO validates our vision to challenge traditional IT managed services models,” he said.

The company’s innovative service model, which includes collaboration with A23 offers an Australian-owned solution that is also best-of-breed.

Key features include: 

  • Agile and automated processes enabling collaboration with the customer on prioritisation.
  • Transparency and control for the customer to direct operational activities and enhancement.
  • Focus on automation to reduce operational costs and create room for innovation.
  • Ongoing mechanisms for the customer to harvest reduced operational costs and/or increase enhancement activity output throughout the life of the engagement.
