Ping Identity has announced the winners of the eighth Identity Excellence Awards at their annual Ping YOUniverse conference.

Selected by Ping Identity leadership, the 2024 winners represent standout security leaders who are advancing the identity industry through innovative, customer-centric services.

 Time to Value Champion: Sydney Airport

As the gateway to Australia, Sydney Airport faced increasing demand for stronger security and a streamlined user experience. To address these challenges, Sydney Airport implemented Ping Advanced Identity Cloud (AIC) for internal and external identities. The adoption of these solutions improved security, delivered greater operational efficiency, and provided a better customer experience including 40% Faster Onboarding, 30% Enhanced Security, 25% Risk Reduction and improved compliance.

Better Together Partner: Midships ft. Bank Jago

In partnership with Midships, Jago Bank upgraded its Ping IAM platform to enhance service quality, meet regulatory requirements and improve operational efficiency. As a result, they saw improved performance, enhanced security and a dedicated pipeline for deploying dynamic configurations, providing better control across environments.

Zero Trust Innovator: Maxis Broadband

As Malaysia’s leading integrated telco, Maxis implemented Ping Identity with a Zero Trust architecture to improve service and security for its over 13 million customers and 10,000 business partners. By leveraging features like Intelligent Access, Lifecycle and Relationship Management and Social Identity, Maxis achieved a substantial reduction in login related complaints, down 75%; marked improvement in operational efficiency with a 40% decrease in IT administrative overhead and rapid time-to-value with a fully in-house self-deployment within six months.
