Tesserent Academy becomes first OffSec live training partner in Australia and New Zealand

Tesserent Academy, part of Tesserent cyber solutions by Thales, has partnered with OffSec to become the first authorised partner to provide PEN-200: Penetration Testing with Kali Linux (OSCP Certification) in Australia and New Zealand.

More than 100 students are expected to participate in the new offering of PEN-200 live training bootcamps across Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Wellington – with a further 200 expected to take on the self-paced learning package over the coming year.

Kurt Hansen, CEO, Tesserent, said: “We are working to help address skills shortages and meet high industry demand for penetration testers in Australia and New Zealand. This training will help organisations gain access to highly skilled talent to strengthen their security defences. “

Andrew Shea, Managing Partner, Tesserent Academy, said the course is specific to offensive security roles and it is the best of breed.

“We recommend at least a few years working in or adjacent cyber security roles before attempting this course,” he said.

The intensive live training bootcamps are pitched as offering ‘unparalleled support and guidance.’

By providing direct access to expert instructors and a collaborative learning environment, participants are said to be better equipped to tackle the challenging OffSec certification exams.

“This support is crucial in helping participants master complex concepts, develop critical thinking skills, and build the confidence needed to succeed in the cyber security field,” said Shea.
