KPMG Australia has been named a finalist for two 2024 Global Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards, in the AI Innovation – Business Transformation and Industry Nonprofit categories.
The company was honoured among a field of top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.

The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards recognize Microsoft partners that have developed and delivered outstanding Microsoft Cloud applications, services, devices and AI innovation during the past year. Awards were classified in various categories, with honorees chosen from more than 4,700 nominations from more than 100 countries.
The AI Innovation Partner – Business Transformation category recognises the partners that create solutions that strike an effective balance between Intelligence, Creativity, Productivity and Connectivity.
The category focuses on solutions that unlock new business value at scale, disrupt the status quo by introducing new ways to engage with technology and provide consistent experiences across devices and platforms.
Built by KPMG Australia using a range of Azure OpenAI services, KymChat is a proprietary enterprise-grade AI agent that powers multiple use cases and is used by KPMG to boost efficiency and create a better people experience. KPMG is also committed to supporting clients to accelerate their own AI adoption with KymChat, expanding the KymChat suite of solutions to include additional use cases such as AI driven compliance and KymTax.
The Industry Nonprofit category recognises partner organisations that excel at providing innovative and unique services or cloud solutions based on Microsoft technologies that help nonprofits tackle the world’s biggest challenges and deliver on their missions. KPMG have been recognised as a result of their success in transforming core technology infrastructure using the Powered Enterprise approach and accelerators.
KPMG were able to deliver nonprofit clients a clear view of leading practice functions, a preconfigured instance of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Customer Engagement on Microsoft Cloud for Nonprofit, as well as providing customers with clarity, direction, a de-risked approach at every step.
