Türk Telekom, which provides information and communication services to all of Turkey’s 500 largest companies, have launched a new cooperation with digital industry leader GE. The partnership attempts to accelerate the digital transformation of the Turkish industry and present the opportunities available with the Industrial Objects Internet within the scope of ‘Industry 4.0’. Digital conversion consultancy service will be offered to the industrial companies in Turkey, especially ‘500 Big’ with the cooperation agreement of ‘Industrial Conversion of Industrial Companies’ signed between Türk Telekom and GE Digital.
Türk Telekom and GE Digital will provide joint services to identify companies’ digitalisation levels and provide advanced technological solutions that can determine the strategies and roadmaps that can provide the highest value for their digital conversion as soon as possible.
It is very important to put out a detailed plan, which is the first step in the digital transformation. Following the detailed plan creation, GE’s Digital Intelligent Factory, Asset Performance Management and Data Science Solutions and Türk Telekom’s infrastructure, mobility, data centre and cloud services will be offered to industrial companies. GE Digital and Turk Telekom collaborated to increase the competitiveness of the Turkish enterprises with the solutions of the Industrial Objects Internet and to share best known methods for transformation.
Companies will jump ahead
With digital conversion services to be offered under the brand name of Türk Telekom with GE Digital support, the aim is to increase performance and productivity in the production processes of the companies, companies that have completed digital conversion processes; increased productivity, less unplanned downtime and falling costs. The comprehensive solution portfolio delivers significant capabilities and real-time data processing and monitoring capabilities in a wide range of areas such as asset performance management, fault management, operations management, predictable maintenance work, production assessment and planning.
