CNet’s programmes now approved by the IEEE

CNet Training’s technical education programmes have been approved by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers

CNet Training’s technical education programmes have been approved by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the world’s technical professional organisation for the advancement of technology.

Those who attend CNet’s programmes and who are IEEE members benefit from gaining IEEE Professional Development Hours (PDH) which result in IEEE Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

Not only will those who successfully complete CNet’s programmes receive the official CNet certification, they also have the option to apply for an IEEE CEU certification, making it even more credible.

CNet’s technical programmes form The Global Digital Infrastructure Education Framework, which offers sector professionals an opportunity to plan education programmes that meet their on-going development needs.

It is recognised and respected all over the world and provides designations that have become key skills reference points that allow those holding them to clearly demonstrate their ability and experience.

Each programme has been designed to address the skills and knowledge requirements of those working in different areas of these vibrant and fast-moving sectors.

While the programmes flow perfectly from one to another they are of equal value as stand-alone programmes, plus you can enter the framework at any level depending on your level of experience.

All of CNet’s programmes from The Global Digital Infrastructure Education Framework are approved by the IEEE, from qualification level three right through to the world’s only Masters Degree in Data Centre Leadership and Management, which is a level seven programme.

The IEEE started in 1833 and the international company is well respected all over the globe and has over 423,000 members in 160 different countries. IEEE and its members inspire a global community to innovate for a better tomorrow and its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards and professional and educational activities. IEEE is the trusted voice for engineering, computing and technology information around the globe.

CNet’s President and CEO, Andrew Stevens, said: “CNet’s programmes are of huge value, but we are delighted that they are IEEE approved too. Having this approval makes them even more valuable and sets them apart from the rest while providing extra benefits to the IEEE members. Now, those who attend CNet’s programmes can benefit from being awarded CEUs, which will be instantly recognisable by those in the industry. It also demonstrates a commitment to continuing education, demonstrating their efforts to ensure their skills remain professionally certified and current.”
