Siemon to showcase portfolio of advanced data centre solutions in Paris

Siemon, a leading global network infrastructure specialist, has announced that it is returning to Data Centre World conference and exhibition in Paris this year to showcase the benefits of its comprehensive WheelHouse portfolio of advanced data centre solutions for enterprise, hyperscale, cloud and colocation data centre facilities.

Data Centre World takes place at Paris Porte De Versailles on November 27 and 28, 2018, where Siemon will be exhibiting on stand E20 and the Live Green Data Centre, a fully functioning and interactive data centre environment that enables live demonstrations of the latest data centre products and solutions.

Siemon’s WheelHouse portfolio comprises innovative data centre racks and cabinets, high-performance copper and fibre optic cabling, intelligent power distribution solutions and data centre design expertise to support any size and type of data centre environment. At Data Centre World, Siemon will demonstrate how this solution set helps data centre professionals address the most critical issues in data centres today including the need for increased speed and equipment density, ease of installation, accessibility and thermal efficiency.

At the Live Green Data Centre, Siemon will be showcasing its VersaPOD cabinet solution which optimises space utilisation and maximises thermal efficiency. Through its innovative zero-U design, connectivity, patching and power distribution, units can be shared between bayed cabinets to reduce stranded power outlets by 75% and achieve savings of 46%.

Siemon experts including Siemon’s Regional Account Manager for France, Michael Serdin; Technical Manager, Nicolas Roussel; and French distribution partner, Noriak Distribution will be on hand to demonstrate how selecting, designing and deploying the right infrastructure can ensure the longevity of a data centre design and build.

Michael Serdin recently joined the Siemon team with 19 years of industry experience. He is responsible for growing the business in France, working closely with end-users, channel partners and supporting Noriak Distribution in fulfilling local customer demand.

With more than 5,000 expected visitors, Data Centre World is the largest gathering of data centre professionals in France. During the two-day event, attendees will be exposed to some of the latest innovations in the data centre environment ranging from energy efficiency, design and construction, physical and fire safety to robotics automation with the Live Green Data Centre being the show-piece for the event.

“With cloud-based and storage intensive applications and Big Data are all putting increased pressure on data centres today. It is more important than ever to ensure that this key strategic asset is being built on solid foundations to help organisations drive business productivity,” said Michael Serdin, Regional Account Manager at Siemon. “At Data Centre World, we look forward to advising data centre professionals on what to look out for when selecting and designing a high-performance infrastructure upon which their entire data centre can rely on today and in the future.”
