Remote announces project to provide Turkey earthquake victims with remote job opportunities

Remote, a leader in building, managing and supporting global, distributed workforces, has announced the Turkey Aid Project, a new initiative to connect remote job seekers recovering from the Turkish earthquake with employers all over the world, helping victims rebuild their lives and earn a sustainable income.

The Turkey Aid Project is completely free for both employers and workers. Employers based in any country can participate by hiring talent directly through their own entity in Turkey or through other means, like Remote’s global employment platform that enables companies to hire anyone, anywhere. Any company hiring remote workers can sign up for the Turkey Aid Project to receive a list of candidates for roles ranging from product manager, data scientist, lawyer, architect, UX / UI designer and many more.

Job van der Voort, CEO and Co-founder of Remote, said: “Turkey is one of the world’s major economies with a booming tech industry and a large number of highly skilled professionals in tech and other industries, and we want to use our knowledge, technology and network to help individuals and their families rebuild after the earthquakes. The Turkey Aid Project will enable remote-first employers based anywhere in the world to not only fill their open positions with great talent, but also make a meaningful difference to someone in need.”
