European instant on-demand delivery leader, Gorillas has selected Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) to digitally transform its human capital management. The implementation of Workday Human Capital Management will provide Gorillas with frictionless HR processes and analytical capabilities to create an enhanced employee experience.
In less than two years, Gorillas has grown from zero to over 14.000 employees, operating in nine countries across Europe and the US. After this period of hypergrowth, the company is now pursuing a strategy of sustainable growth, focussing on building a scalable business to support existing operations. This includes a major focus on people, further professionalising and scaling up the HR infrastructure.
To do so, Gorillas was looking for a technology partner who could provide a solution to better digitally engage its rapidly growing workforce, create a streamlined employee experience, expand capacity and improve collaboration on a global scale.
With the implementation of Workday HCM, Gorillas has found the perfect match to support their ambition to elevate the company’s people strategy to a new level. Workday HCM will enhance Gorillas’ HR experience with a user-friendly system that allows employees to access relevant information and complete tasks anytime, anywhere. In addition, managers will gain better insight into talent management and workforce planning.
With Workday HCM, Gorillas will be able to:
- Optimise employee experience. Workday’s platform enables Gorillas to acquire a greater scope to identify the needs of its employees and meet them, reinforcing their commitment and the feeling of belonging in a digital company.
- Automation of processes. Workday HCM will allow Gorillas to alleviate workflows and focus the employees’ attention on more essential tasks.
- Transparency at a global scale. Workday’s platform creates better operational visibility and performance for the company’s 14,000 employees.
“Workday will play a significant role in enabling the next several phases of growth for Gorillas. With the new platform, we will be able to further strengthen our core HR infrastructure, better engage with our workforce digitally and provide a stronger employee experience,” said Deena Fox, Global Chief People Officer, Gorillas.
