Netskope, a leader in Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), has announced its participation in the Advisory Council of the Americas.
This is an initiative proposed by the Center for Cybersecurity Policy and Law to promote collaboration in this area between the US Government and the most representative technology companies in the country, with their counterparts in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Alain Karioty, VP of Latin America, Netskope, said: “With the current cybersecurity landscape, protecting people and information sharing is crucial, and it is necessary to go beyond technology. We strongly believe that co-operation and knowledge sharing between countries, manufacturers, companies and different industry bodies is vital to evolve together.
“We are very pleased to be part of this initiative and are confident that our experience will help to fight cybercrime in Latin America and the Caribbean.”
The Center for Cybersecurity Policy and Legislation, as a non-profit organization, seeks that the US Government and the private sector can build bridges with Latin America and the Caribbean.
It intends to provide a forum for thought leadership for the benefit of the industry, including members of civil society and government entities, both in the field of cybersecurity and related technology policy and to improve their cybersecurity practices.
