SAP accompanies the Digital Transformation of Banco Galicia

SAP is assisting Banco Galicia with its Digital Transformation.

Currently, Banco Galicia has more than 5,000 employees distributed in around 320 branches. For over a decade, the organization had used a tool that no longer responds to the needs related to Human Resources.

Banco Galicia has implemented a Digital Transformation plan, under a project called ÓrbitaG, which implies an important renewal and incorporation of best practices. Its objective includes the search for a better employee experience; making the management of Human Resources processes more flexible, facilitating employee self-management, fostering collaboration and empowering teams and leaders; access to information in real-time and the automation of tasks; and also the incorporation of the best practices of the current market.

The transformation of the Human Resources arena is a necessary step on the road to progress for the company, freeing executives from repetitive tasks in order to dedicate more time to reading and interpreting the data of each of their collaborators.

Founded in 1905, Banco Galicia is one of the main private banks in Argentina’s financial system. As a universal bank, and through affiliate companies and diverse distribution channels, it offers a wide range of financial services to 3 million customers, both individuals and organizations.
