SAP has announced that revenue from sales of cloud solutions grew by double digits in all countries in Latin America.
The company says that performance in Brazil was ‘extraordinary’ and ‘very solid’ in Chile and Mexico for the fiscal year 2023.
The star of the year was the cloud ERP, which grew by double digits compared to the previous year. There are already many Latin American companies that rely on the RISE with SAP offer to accelerate the growth of their organizations.
One such case is BRF, the global food leader with nearly 100,000 employees in more than 120 countries, which has chosen to implement RISE with SAP to digitize its operations in 35 plants and 22 distribution centers that serve supermarkets, retailers, wholesalers and restaurants. With this offering, BRF aims to reduce the total cost of ownership, improve operational efficiency and streamline the integration of future acquisitions.
Another Brazilian giant that has adopted RISE with SAP is Klabin, a large producer and exporter of paper, which seeks to boost its Digital Transformation and drive its vision of being a more agile company with an unwavering commitment to regulations and standards. The company seeks to transform its technological platform and modernize its operations to remain at the forefront of the industry.
Grasco Organization, a conglomerate of mass consumption companies in Colombia with recognized brands such as Dersa and Grasco, has also adopted RISE with SAP as a transformation platform to modernize its technological platform. This will allow it to obtain greater agility and real-time traceability of their operations through process analytics and intelligence to continue at the forefront of the Colombian consumer industry.
“The sustained and accelerated growth of cloud in the region, together with a higher level of maturity in its adoption, provides Latin American companies, of all sizes and industries, a unique opportunity to immediately benefit from the rise of Artificial Intelligence and lay the necessary foundations to incorporate future innovations,” said Cristina Palmaka, President of SAP Latin America and the Caribbean. “Today, innovation is more crucial than ever to the economic and social development of the region, and at SAP we have the precise solutions that every organization needs to embark on this exciting journey of transformation.”
In an analysis by industry, double-digit growth is seen in relation to the previous quarter in various sectors, including consumer products, engineering and construction, oil and gas, and health.
“The key word is flexibility: each company has its needs, its restrictions and its roadmap on the path to the cloud and Digital Transformation,” said Sonja Simon, CFO of SAP Latin America and the Caribbean.
