ShowHeroes, a global leader in digital video content, technology and advertising solutions, has announced a new international partnership for Connected TV audience attention measurement with Adelaide – one of the world’s leading experts in attention-based media quality measurement.
The companies, which were already partnering for digital media on desktop and mobile, are now expanding the scope to CTV – one of the fastest growing and most evolving mediums in the world.
Connected TV advertising is an increasingly lucrative strategy across global markets.
Ad-supported TV streaming in the U.S. is forecast to increase by 16 million users this year, compared to the predicted drop of 10 million pay-tv streaming over the same period.
In Latin America, the world’s second-largest digital video market by penetration, the majority of the region’s streaming hours already take place on CTV – with 85% of users preferring CTV content over linear, according to Insider Intelligence.
“This partnership, which was already successful here in Brazil in attention metrics for online videos, is greatly expanding the scope as it brings unprecedented measurement possibilities to Connected TV,” said Renato Citi, Commercial Director of ShowHeroes in Brazil.
Marc Guldimann, CEO, Adelaide, said: “Our partnership addresses the need for greater transparency in the quality of CTV media.
“Through this collaboration, advertisers gain a deeper understanding of the effectiveness of Connected TV advertising, anchored in brand outcomes and platform-specific quality signals.”
