Argentinian payments startup Geopagos and Costa Rican bank BAC launched Pyme Store BAC to provide e-commerce solutions to SMEs in Latin America and Central America.
The platform, which makes it easier to create e-commerce store, is intended to act as a commercial bridge, connecting products and services with potential customers.
This marketing channel will help SMEs position their sales through a digital ecosystem that fuses the essence of small and medium-sized businesses with e-commerce, including preferred payment methods such as Compra Click and Apple Pay.
Pyme Store BAC has been designed in conjunction with Geopagos to offer an intuitive interface that, as pitched, will make it easier for small and medium-sized businesses to manage and design robust digital catalogues with great depth in the description of prices, offers and discounts, configuration of payment methods and personalized shipping, among other essential functionalities.
“At BAC we know how important SMEs are for Central America and the prosperity they generate in their communities. That is why we support entrepreneurs in their digitalization process, offering a simple way to sell their services and products online, through a secure and reliable platform,” said Jaime Compte, Corporate Vice President of Personal Banking and Payment Methods, BAC.
Sebastián Núñez Castro, CEO and co-founder, Geopagos, said: “This launch marks a crucial step in BAC’s digitalization strategy, bringing to its network of merchants a solution that combines flexibility, simplicity and a completely omnichannel experience.”
