Volkswagen updates business expense management with SAP Concur

Volkswagen Argentina, a local subsidiary of German automobile manufacturing company Volkswagen Group, has chosen SAP Concur for more efficient, integrated and digitized travel expense management. 

“There is a before and after SAP Concur,” said Daniel González, Travel and Finance Analyst at Volkswagen Argentina.

“Previously, everything was presented in original invoices, which generated a huge accumulation of papers and also represented a problem for the accounting department, which had to take care of recording all that.”

Refunds and returns generated even more physical documents.

“We needed not only to gain efficiency, but also to standardize processes, which were always done in the same way, optimize time and resources and promote transparency,” said Pilar Ramón Príncipe, Travel and Finance Analyst at Volkswagen Argentina.

Among the additional benefits that SAP Concur provides to Volkswagen Argentina are greater control of company policies. In addition, the system allows the creation of a profile for auditors, so that they can access all the history of processed reports in a simple and centralized way.

“Today a collaborator does not have to worry about missing a ticket or thinking about the hassle of completing the forms by hand or getting the signature of their superiors. Today they have this intuitive, simple and agile system,” said Príncipe.
