Sage Middle East, has received another vote of confidence as the Bahrain-based Bukumal conglomerate chose to invest in Sage’s popular CRM.
Bukumal, an industry provider in Retail, Power & Energy, Properties, Security, Construction and Industrial Supplies in the GCC, successfully installed Sage CRM with the help of Fakhroo Information Technology Services W.L.L after noting the need for automated sales processes for its customer relationship projects.
“We did not have a system in place for sales data collection and automation of creating reports to help us keep track of all our projects, and this impacted our ability to streamline our services,” said Hassan Ansari, Executive Manager-SCM & Operations for Bukamal “The Sage CRM was the perfect choice for us, since it is an internationally certified software brand. Bukumal’s decision to switch to Sage CRM was reinforced by its easy-to-use setup and installation processes, which saw the implementation of the modules happen in phases, with testing and revisions as required. Staff also underwent the necessary training to familiarize themselves with the system.
Hassan acknowledged that implementing Sage CRM has enabled Bukamal to take informed critical decisions and assist them in planning for the future. “Now, we have a more improved and efficient sales process, along with the ability to have instant reports , because everything is neatly stored in one place,” he noted, adding that Bukumal’s investment was money well spent for a solution-driven software that meets customers’ requirements.

Sage’s strong market share in CRM solutions comes as the GCC’s enterprise IT spending is expected to exceed AED 17 billion in 2015, according to the latest estimates by the International Data Corporation (that’s an 80% increase in enterprise solutions usage within the past two years).
