Sophos and Cyberoam bring network security to GITEX

Sophos has announced that it will place the spotlight on its concept of communication between its IT security solutions for endpoint and network at GITEX Technology Week. The world of IT security has become even more complex and more difficult to manage for enterprises of all sizes, thus it is time for a new approach to IT security solutions.

Sophos plans to showcase the latest version of its UTM hardware series – its new generation of network security appliances that fully supports the best of two worlds – from Sophos’ and the Cyberoam technology. Moreover visitors will be able to take look at the most up to date versions of Sophos Cloud, Enduser Protection Bundles, SafeGuard, Sophos Mobile Control, Sophos Email Appliance and Sophos Web Appliance.

Also on display will be Cyberoam’s future-ready network security with its wide range of Next-Generation Firewalls and UTMs. This event will show partners and prospects from both worlds the huge benefits of combining the Cyberoam IT security expertise with the Sophos portfolio.

“We are looking forward to showcase our combined portfolio of next-generation solutions and upcoming innovations in Network and IT security,” said Harish Chib, Vice President Middle East & Africa for Sophos. “With accelerating digitisation, businesses in the region seek one-stop reliable security expertise against the known as well as unknown threats.

With IoT and digital transformation as core agenda, this edition of GITEX brings us a well-timed opportunity to showcase how our latest innovations unify Network and Endpoint to improve the quality of defence and protect everything – including users, apps, network, devices and data.”

Sophos will be exhibiting in Hall 1 stand C1-16. Technology experts from the company will be available to speak to existing and potential customers and channel partners from across the region. Cyberoam products will be showcased on stand C1-15.
