Amadeus Gulf is launching a suite of robotics and touchless solutions at the Arabian Travel Market 2016. Amadeus Touchless Solutions will help travel companies automate their processes and deliver much better and streamlined customer experiences.
Following the pressure on travel providers to price right, reduce costs and increase profits to remain competitive, automation is a key driver to leverage more margins from their business. The technology promises to support travel agency management to reduce and control costs, increase quality and boost productivity, enabling agents to focus on customer service and revenue- generating activities. On the other hand, the agents will save time and resources on repetitive tasks; maintain data consistency for reporting purposes and produce advanced analytics and behaviour patterns of corporations and travellers.
Graham J. Nichols, Managing Director at Amadeus Gulf, said: “Amadeus continues to deliver efficiency, automation and business process optimisation to its customers. Our motivation has always been to help our clients deliver great customer experiences. The touchless suite can automate many manual checks, tasks and processes within an agency, helping deliver seamless, super-fast and accurate levels of service. The suite also helps our customers focus on travel inspiration and travel selling rather than pure fulfilment related tasks”.
The Middle East travel market is poised for enormous growth in the next three years, both online and offline. The regional online travel market is forecast to almost double in value within the next two years, rising from US$18 billion to US$35 billion by 2018. These numbers represent a crucial call to action for travel agencies to better answer the customer needs through efficient and automated processes.
Amadeus Touchless Solutions are built on a flexible automation platform, which can be fully customised to help travel agencies process and better manage the time-consuming and complex tasks through a robust system along with the flexibility of four fully customisable modules: quality control, auto ticketing, schedule change and fare optimisation.
This technology allows travel agents to perform various routine tasks at much faster speeds 24/7. Some of the capabilities of the touchless suite include automatically finding the lowest daily fares available on selected flights, making fare comparisons and providing travellers with best prices. Furthermore, tickets can also be issued automatically using robots, which reduces errors and enables agents to be more focused on their customers.
“Amadeus Gulf is constantly working to bring the latest solutions to our market and one of our key focus areas is the Amadeus Touchless suite that can help drive significant efficiencies, cost control and new revenue opportunities for our customers”, added Nichols.
Amadeus Gulf will be exhibiting at ATM 2016 on 25-28 April, in the Technology Hall at booth number TT1320.
