Oracle Cerner wins Best in KLAS Award by providing unified clinical platform

Growing demand for healthcare services in Middle East and African regions in recent years has led to an increased need for governments to establish world-class electronic medical records systems. Oracle Cerner announced that it has been awarded the 2022 Best in KLAS Acute Care EMR for Middle East and Africa, further proving its stance as a global leader in healthcare technology. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Oracle Cerner has received this award.

The KLAS assessment determines its rankings from a combination of in-depth interviews and data points captured over a year through a process of customer interviews. Rankings are a result of the feedback received from providers. Oracle Cerner topped the list with a score of 86.7.

Akram Sami, Vice President and Managing Director, Middle East and Africa at Oracle Cerner, commented, “Oracle Cerner works to provide client engagement models to help deliver more attentive support, quicker response times, and greater flexibility in meeting ever-changing needs for physicians and patients. This recognition highlights how we empower health systems to improve care experiences and drive better outcomes for the communities they serve.”

Through a single database, the Oracle Cerner EMR system creates a unified clinical, operational, and administrative platform across care facilities and helps provide clinicians easier access to real-time health information from anywhere. This can include connecting patients, providers, payers, and public health services across entire health systems or health information exchanges.

“Oracle Cerner’s Middle East team has consistently done a great job working with and supporting their customers. This focus to customer success has earned them several straight Best in KLAS awards for that region. That does not happen by accident. Many Middle East customers are thriving with Millennium Powerchart,” said Everton Santos, Vice President of International Research, KLAS.

KLAS has been providing accurate, honest, and impartial insights for the healthcare IT industry since 1996. The KLAS mission is to improve the world’s healthcare by amplifying the voice of providers and payers.

Oracle Cerner’s health technologies connect people and information systems at thousands of contracted provider facilities worldwide dedicated to creating smarter and better care for individuals and communities.
