Epson Middle East aims to showcase new solutions that deliver a more immersive and sustainable customer experience across canning, projection and printing, demonstrating how our solutions are benefiting growth industries in the MENA region including education, government, healthcare, banking, retail, and entertainment.
Epson’s theme at GITEX will be sustainability, a key regional and global priority, especially given events such as COP28 taking place in the UAE this year. During GITEX, Epson is launching new scanning solutions for a smoother digital transformation experience, enabling increased automation. This compact A4 desktop range of scanners, DS-C330, DS-C490, ES-C320W, ES-C380W includes Epson’s smallest footprint products, with passport scanning capabilities. They are made from up to 30% recycled plastics, delivering an ideal choice for environmentally-conscious businesses.
GITEX is a platform for attendees to project, print, and scan using Epson’s solutions to support all manner of work models whether in-person, remote, or hybrid. Epson is showcasing a next generation hybrid workspace in collaboration with Logitech and Microsoft using solutions such as Epson’s short-throw laser display, EB-810E, premium network scanner, WorkForce DS-790WN directly to Microsoft Teams, and small workgroup printer, WF-C5390DW along with Epson’s projectors and wall mounts. The hybrid workspace delivers increased flexibility, efficiency, and sustainability for many key regional industries.
In addition, Epson is highlighting a range of printing solutions for the creative, fashion, and design sectors, as well as label printing, projection, and immersive retail experiences, to showcase how one can enable brands to differentiate user experiences.
As part of Epson’s new scanner launch, many channel partners from around the MENA region will be hosted at GITEX to experience the automation, space-saving, and sustainability aspects of these solutions.
For the print management solutions, Epson has partnered with MyQ for the Heat-Free technology area and PaperCut and Google for the education area. For Epson’s hybrid meeting rooms, Avientek, Microsoft and Logitech are the partners to showcase the technologies used to create the world’s first hybrid workspace.
To showcase immersive experiences at the GITEX stand, Epson has collaborated with VirtuWall, and Hybrid Experience to showcase its new scanners and art gallery.
In September 2023, just prior to GITEX, Epson announced the establishment of a new sales company, Epson Middle East FZCO, EME, reflecting the tremendous potential to accelerate future growth in the Middle East and Africa region.
The organisation will oversee Africa, Caucasus, Central Asia, the Middle East, Moldova, Turkey, and Ukraine, centrally managed from a regional office in Dubai, UAE. GITEX provides an ideal opportunity for customers and partners across the region to learn more about this operational change and how it will benefit them.
Epson’s full Middle East leadership team will be present on the stand to showcase new solutions and interact with industry leaders and potential customers to build new partnerships and learn about new technology trends and best practices. Some of Epson’s key team members include Neil Colquhoun, President, Epson EME; Suat Ozsoy, Business Unit Director, Epson Middle East; Evgeniy Dzhaksimov, Regional Sales Director, AFIS, CIS, Epson Europe B.V; Lee Harrison, Head of Sales, Video Projectors, Epson CISMETA; and Natalie Harrison, Head of Marketing, Middle East.
