Unlocking the full potential of data and leveraging AI technologies at GITEX 2024

Walid Issa, Solutions Engineering Manager MEA, NetApp

NetApp’s theme at GITEX Global 2024 will be highlighting the power and capabilities of intelligent data management solutions. The booth will emphasize how NetApp’s solutions enable organisations to unlock the full potential of their data, leverage AI technologies, optimise workloads, enhance security, and drive innovation.

Visitors to the booth will see demonstrations, presentations, and discussions highlighting the benefits and features of NetApp’s intelligent data infrastructure solutions.

NetApp will be displaying its recent launches and technologies as the new AFF A-Series systems, designed to provide unified data storage for the AI era. These systems turbocharge AI workloads and simplify scalability for demanding IT workloads such as GenAI, VMware, and enterprise databases.

The AFF A-Series eliminates storage silos and complexity, offering powerful, intelligent, and secure storage. NetApp’s unified data storage supports block, file, and object storage protocols, and integrates with major public cloud providers.

The new AFF A-Series systems deliver up to 2x better performance, 99.9999% data availability, raw-to-effective capacity, and integrated real-time ransomware detection. NetApp also introduced additional capabilities such as new StorageGRID models, cyber vault reference architecture, and advanced data management features.

At the Microsoft stand at GITEX Global 2024, NetApp will display the Azure NetApp Files solution. Azure NetApp Files is a cloud-based storage service that provides high-performance, scalable, and reliable file storage for Azure workloads. It enables organisations to seamlessly migrate and run their applications in the Azure cloud while maintaining enterprise-level performance and data management capabilities.

NetApp will highlight the benefits of Azure NetApp Files, such as reduced total cost of ownership, support for large-scale HPC and EDA workloads, improved performance with large volumes, and the ability to scale storage independently of compute.

The impact of AI for channel partners and end users is significant. AI enables channel partners to offer more intelligent and efficient solutions to their customers.
