CNet Training has expanded its technical team by welcoming Paul Gorman and Tim Dickens to the company. Both are focusing on the Network Infrastructure education framework which includes the newly launched Certified Network Cable Installer (CNCI) and the Certified Network Infrastructure Design Professional (CNIDP) programs.
Paul is Technical Developer and tasked with ensuring the technical content of all the programs throughout the Network Infrastructure Education Framework, from entry level through to qualification level 5, remain current and up-to-date.
Paul brings a wealth of knowledge to the company, which includes working as a Telecommunications Engineer for the British Army and within commercial environments working to design and implement complex network and IT delivery programs. In addition to developing new program content at CNet Training, Paul will focus on maintaining it by regularly reviewing the technical content to ensure it is up-to-date with the latest standards, codes of practice and industry development.
New product development is also part of this role and we will enhance and grow the current Network Infrastructure Education Framework with new programs that will enable industry professionals to further grow their knowledge, official certification and professional qualifications within more advanced subjects.
Alongside Paul, Tim Dickens joins the company as an Instructor. He will be delivering the CNCI program at CNet’s dedicated facility at Barking & Dagenham College, a venue which has been chosen for its new state-of-the-art facilities, excellent learning environment, professional focus and ease of access. Tim has over 30 years experience within the industry.
This expansion to the Network Infrastructure teams comes at a busy time for CNet Training. They have recently launched the CNCI as the new certification for the Network Infrastructure industry. It is already having a huge impact with major installers and manufacturers endorsing it as the new ‘must-have’ certification. This importance step paves the way for a more quality driven industry.
Andrew Stevens, Managing Director at CNet Training adds, “We are excited to be welcoming Paul and Tim to CNet Training. Both bring an impressive amount of knowledge and industry experience with them, which will further enhance our strong team. We have great vision for the future development and growth of the Network Infrastructure Education Framework with programs that are technically advanced and highly focused. Both Paul and Tim will play significant roles with continuing to strengthen this side of the business and further emphasise our position of being the market leader for Network Infrastructure and data centre education.”
