Pulse Secure has announced the launch of its online Education Centre. Developed to foster a continuous learning ecosystem, the Education Center provides both customers and partners with a variety of training resources.
With an annual subscription to the Education Centre, Pulse Secure customers have unlimited access to a variety of educational assets, including eLearning accreditation courses, product insight videos, knowledge base articles and collaborative learning communities that help to provide premium skills development for organisations.
Through targeted content curation and analysis along with social feedback, Pulse Secure ensures subscription value by providing fresh and relevant material that gives customers the flexibility to learn how they want and when they want. The Education Centre also has a mobile app and all content is HTML5 compatible, which allows customers the flexibility to learn on-the-go through access from Android and Apple mobile devices and tablets.
“The rollout of the Education Centre is another signal of our commitment to the region. Our goal is to provide our customers and partners with continuous education opportunities through a personalised online medium that gives them the flexibility to pick and choose the modules that are relevant for them and work through these at a time that is convenient for them,” said John Mitchell, EMEA Partner Director, Pulse Secure.
Pulse Secure’s global network of ‘Authorised Education Partners’ offer in-person and live online certification classes to customers and partners. These classes provide in-depth, hands-on training for Pulse Secure’s Connect Secure and Policy Secure products. The Education Centre also enables individuals to view and request upcoming Pulse Secure Authorised Education Partner certification classes, register for certification exams and manage certifications.
Online learning platforms have been proven to be more effective for individuals looking to further their education. In fact, a report from the University of the Potomac, shared that 77% of educators believe that online learning is just as good as traditional learning, if not better. Busy security professionals need access to education materials on their terms and when it’s convenient for them – online courses and on demand courses make it easier for them to further their education.
“The evolution of online learning over the last decade has led to a shift in the education continuum,” said Ara Burke, Senior Director and Chief Learning Officer, Pulse Secure. “Quality online learning requires leading-edge innovation in the development of digital content and state-of-the art technology to deliver a more personalised learning environment. It is not an abandonment of effective traditional learning practices, but a transition that empowers learners to design and drive their own educational needs.”
