Joyce Oh joins Moffitt Cancer Center as new Vice President and CIO

Joyce Oh has joined Moffitt Cancer Center as the new Vice President and CIO.

In her role, she will be responsible for leading Moffitt’s IT teams and contributing to the organization’s Digital Transformation efforts.

Bringing more than 25 years of technology experience to the cancer center, Oh will oversee Moffitt’s IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, IT applications and digital business office functions throughout the enterprise.

As CIO, she will also play a key leadership role as part of Moffitt’s Center for Digital Health team, collaborating with the Chief Data Officer, Vice President of Digital and others to develop and apply digital tools to advance oncology care, research and education in support of Moffitt’s strategic plan.

“We are thrilled to have Joyce join our team,” said Edmondo Robinson, Moffitt’s Chief Digital Officer. “Her years of experience in technology will play a critical role as we continue to enhance our digital infrastructure, aligning with Moffitt’s strategic plan.”

Oh comes to Moffitt from Beaumont Health, Southeast Michigan’s largest health system, where she was the divisional CIO. She was responsible for IT systems and team performance while also ensuring the technology strategy roadmap aligned to organizational goals.

As a close partner to the Beaumont Research Institute, she served as IT executive over Beaumont’s Precision Health Program and co-authored a COVID-19 seropositivity study published in multiple scientific journals.
