Strategic alliance to help enterprises successfully deploy and effectively run Microsoft 365 E5 advanced security tools and solutions.
BlueVoyant’s on the up as, fresh from being ranked among the fasted growing US tech companies, the New York based cyber defense specialist enters a strategic alliance with EY US to provide proven cyber risk management design.
The alliance will allow joint clients to build, operate and improve services around Microsoft 365 E5 advanced security tools.
As Microsoft 2022 Global Security Partner of the Year and Microsoft 2022 and 2023 United States Security Partner of the Year respectively, EY US and BlueVoyant say they are ‘excited’ to actively work together to help enterprises successfully deploy and effectively run Microsoft 365 E5 advanced security tools and solutions.
BlueVoyant’s CEO and Co-Founder, James Rosenthal, credits the company’s advanced technology, including the early adoption of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, with the company’s rapid revenue growth.
“I am honored that Deloitte recognized BlueVoyant’s impressive growth, validating our leadership in technology for the second consecutive year,” said Rosenthal.
“When we founded BlueVoyant six years ago, our mission was to solve for significant gaps in internal and external cyber defense. Today, our comprehensive suite of products and services empowers customers to identify and neutralize threats across their networks, endpoints, supply chains, and within the clear, deep, and dark web.”
Through the EY–BlueVoyant Alliance, organizations are said to have ‘better together’ access to BlueVoyant’s Sentinel and Defender technical skills and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services – as well as the extensive experience of EY US as a trusted business and technology advisor to global enterprises.
BlueVoyant’s MDR services include a security operations center with 24×7 year-round proactive hunting, monitoring and response capabilities, all of which are all built on tight integrations with Microsoft’s security platform – including solutions for third-party risk management.
Rosenthal said: “Corporate networks have become increasingly challenging to defend against cyber-attacks, with more frequent and more sophisticated attacks both directly and through third-party relationships.
“BlueVoyant is excited to collaborate with EY US to protect enterprises around the world from cyber disruptions. The outstanding consulting services of EY US combined with BlueVoyant’s platform provide effective and efficient cyber defense.”
Dave Burg, EY Americas Cybersecurity Leader, said: “Cybersecurity is fundamental to enabling sustainable and scalable Digital Transformations. By actively collaborating with BlueVoyant, EY US can expand its capabilities and capacity to help enterprises successfully deploy and effectively run Microsoft 365 E5 advanced security tools and solutions. This alliance widens our reach in the cybersecurity managed services market, bringing together two best-in-class service implementors with industry-leading Microsoft technologies.”
BlueVoyant recently announced its participation in the Microsoft Security Copilot Design Advisory Council – with selection recognized as based on the team’s proven experience with Microsoft Security technologies, willingness to explore and provide feedback on cutting-edge functionality and close relationship with Microsoft
“In the context of security, AI’s impact is likely to be profound, tilting the scales in favor of defenders and empowering organizations to defend at machine speed,” said Vasu Jakkal, Corporate Vice President, Microsoft Security.
“At Microsoft, we are privileged to have a leading role in advancing AI innovation and we are so grateful to our incredible ecosystem of partners, whose mission-driven work is critical to helping customers secure their organizations and confidently bring the many benefits of AI into their environments.”
Security Copilot is the first AI-powered security product that enables security professionals to respond to threats quickly, process signals at machine speed and assess risk exposure in minutes. It combines an advanced large language model (LLM) with a security-specific model that is informed by Microsoft’s unique global threat intelligence and more than 65 trillion daily signals.
BlueVoyant is now working with Microsoft product teams to help shape Security Copilot product development in several ways, including validation and refinement of new and upcoming scenarios, providing feedback on product development and operations to be incorporated into future product releases and validation and feedback of APIs to assist with Security Copilot extensibility.
“BlueVoyant is synonymous with security innovation, advanced technology, such as AI and Machine Learning, and new product design with Microsoft,” said Milan Patel, Global Head of Managed Security Services (MSS), BlueVoyant.
“Being on the Design Advisory Council for Microsoft Security Copilot is an honor. The Security Copilot team has given us a front row seat to positively shape the security use cases customers can take advantage of with generative AI.
“Whether it’s thinking about security ethics, investigations, metrics or attribution, we see Security Copilot presenting opportunities for customization and expansion for our managed services offers to ensure our joint customers are maximizing their Microsoft Security investment.”
Being named to the Microsoft Security Copilot Design Advisory Council is among a long list of recognition BlueVoyant has received from Microsoft.
In June, the company was named Microsoft U.S. Security Partner of the Year for the second time in a row.
In April, the company was named the Security MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) of the Year in the Microsoft Security Excellence Awards 2023.
Also this year, BlueVoyant’s Senior Director of Product Management, Mona Ghadiri and Microsoft Platform Engineer, Eric Mannon, were named MVPs (Most Valued Professionals) for Microsoft Security.
In 2022, BlueVoyant achieved Microsoft verified Managed Extended Detection and Response (MXDR) solution status and was one of Microsoft’s top 150 managed security partners.
